David B. Ezra
David has a knack for helping parties find common ground and for achieving settlements even in the most challenging of circumstances. He currently provides executive leadership for the Orange County Bar Association, serving as Secretary/Treasurer for its Alternative Dispute Resolution section.
David was named the Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” in Southern California in 2018 and 2016, added to the list of Best Lawyers of America 2015-present, and was selected as one of Orange County’s Top 5 Attorneys by OC Metro magazine. He also was named to the list of “Top 100” Southern California Super Lawyers for 2013-present and named to the list of “Top 50” Orange County Super Lawyers for 2010-present.
As a volunteer arbitrator for the Orange County Bar Association’s mandatory attorney fee arbitration program, David is dedicated to dispute resolutions not just in business but also in his community.
David earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California in 1990 (Order of the Coif, Top 3%) where he was an editor of the Southern California Law Review. He completed his mediation training and certification in 2005 through UC Irvine’s Conflict Management and the Use Of Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.
Writing and speaking extensively on mediation, insurance, employment and other aspects of law, David recently published the mediation article “The Mediator’s Nightmare” as featured in the Orange County Bar Association publication OC Lawyer.
When he isn’t practicing law or mediating, he concentrates on baseball. In 2008, David published a book on baseball and steroids -- “Asterisk: Home Runs, Steroids, and the Rush to Judgment” (Triumph Books, Foreword by Mike Schmidt).
